Last Year’s Library: FY25 Annual Report

Each year we take a step back to reflect on everything that happened inside and beyond our walls. Our FY25 Annual Report captures that story in data, images, and voices from our community.

Highlights at a Glance

Over the past year, 250,745 people connected with the Library through visits, outreach, and events.
Those numbers represent more than check-ins and headcounts. They show the Library’s continued role as a hub for learning, creativity, and belonging.

  • Reading and borrowing: 562,756 total checkouts, with one third of all borrowing in digital formats.
  • Early literacy: 800 StoryTimes with 14,738 children and caregivers reading, singing, and learning together.
  • Creation Station: Sewing, laser cutting, and 3D printing that help residents learn and make with confidence.
  • Library of Things: Hotspots, radon detectors, blood pressure cuffs, State Park passes, and more.
  • Everyday essentials: 1,068 passports processed and 1,307 notary appointments completed for fast local service.
  • Access and technology: Public computers, printing, and free WiFi keeping Casper connected.
  • Shared impact: Resource sharing that saves trees, water, and electricity across our community.

The best part of the report is always the people. Stories and quotes throughout the report show how our community uses the Library to learn a skill, launch a project, prepare for a trip, or find a quiet place to read.

Thank you to our patrons, partners, volunteers, and Friends of the Library for supporting these achievements. Your curiosity and generosity make this work possible.
