We offer regular book discussions for patrons of all ages. Stop by one (or all) of our book clubs, or check out one of our book club kits for your own group. Call 577-7323 or visit the 2nd Floor Reference desk for more information on everything below.

Book Discussion Groups

Click through the different book clubs below to find great book recommendations and join in on monthly discussions to meet similar readers. You can even get the book for free (and to keep!) if you stop by either the 2nd Floor Reference desk or Children’s department ahead of time.

Books on Tap Book Club

Books on us, drinks on you! For patrons ages 21+. 
Bi-monthly on the 2nd Thursday | 6:30 pm

Reading the West Book Club

Celebrate Wyoming and the West’s rich history with books about the region and featuring western authors.
Monthly on the 1st Tuesday | 6:30 pm

‘Til Death Due You Part Book Club

A book discussion on life, death, and grief, in partnership with Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions.
Quarterly on the 4th Monday | 6 pm

Tween Book Club

For students in grades 4-6.
Monthly on the 4th Monday | 4 pm

Afternoon Book Club

For students in grades 7-8.
Monthly on the 3rd Saturday | 2 pm

Teen Book Club

For students in grades 9-12.
Monthly on the 4th Tuesday | 6 pm

Never Too Old Book Club

A discussion of young adult literature with adult appeal. Open to adults and teens, with parent-teen pairs especially encouraged.
Monthly on the 2nd Tuesday | 6:30 pm

Book Club Kits

Are you in your own book club? We have kits available for check out at the 2nd floor desk for local book clubs. Each kit contains multiple copies of the same title, as well as guides and information for book club discussions.

  • Each kit contains 6-12 copies of the same book, plus discussion questions and talking points to get you started.

  • Kits can be checked out for a month or more to accommodate your book club’s meeting schedule. Just ask the folks at the front desk!

  • We have over 300 titles to choose from, so you’re sure to find the perfect book for your group of readers.

  • You can browse available kits in our online catalog or read through summaries of the books with our Book Club Kits Summaries document.
