A staff member will provide an overview and demonstration. The 3D printer is provided by the Natrona County Library Foundation. The Library’s Creation Station is a flexible, community, collaborative makerspace for individuals and small groups of all ages who can use STEAM-related supplies and equipment to bring their inventions and creations to life. Experience Virtual Reality @ Crawford Room

Immerse yourself in a new world by testing out the Natrona County Library’s virtual reality system on Saturday, November 16. Patrons of all ages are invited to stop by between 2 and 5 pm in the Crawford Room to choose from over 30 virtual reality games and apps to play on the HTC Vive. Free and open to the public. If you’ve ever struggled with meeting and connecting with people, you’re not alone. Most people have. Join us with special guest, Ginger Johnson, an expert on Connectivity (the human kind) for “Connecting Fundamentals: How to Connect in Person, in a Disconnected World.”

She’ll share stories, tools and tactics to help anyone who truly wants to connect with other people learn how to do so. With a family connection to Casper, Ginger’s excited to join us for this event and will answer all questions you bring to the room as well.

Tinkercad is an easy-to-learn web application for 3D design that you can use to build your own 3D creation. Design from home, then print in our Creation Station! The Natrona County Genealogy Society will hold their monthly genealogy workshop on Thursday, November 21 at 6:45 pm in the Crawford Room at the Natrona County Library. This month’s presenter, Cindy Blevins, will do a deeper dive for how to navigate FamilySearch to find indexed sources. FamilySearch is a free online resource and the world’s largest collection of free family trees, genealogy records, and resources. This program is free and open to the public.
