Take & Make for Kids: Butterfly Puppets

Butterflies are absolutely beautiful, and what better time to make a butterfly craft than during the annual monarch butterfly migration? Kids can make these puppets in no time with just a few supplies. Take & Make Butterfly Puppet kits will be available for pickup in the Children’s Department on September 22nd. Gotta catch ‘em all! Kids and Tweens can be the best like no one ever was with these Pokémon Grab Bags! Kits have supplies for a Pokéball bookmark and a starter Pokémon pompom. Edible Book Fest 2020 @ Natrona County Library

Join the Friends of the Library for the Annual Edible Book Festival where the worlds of books and food collide in creative and delicious ways.

  • Create an edible work of art inspired by your favorite book or author.
  • Creations can be from the title, characters, plot, or author
  • Have fun with puns or create something in the shape of a book.
  • Entries may be made from anything that is edible (cake, bread, crackers, gelatin, fruit, vegetables, candy, etc.) as long as it can be displayed for a few hours without melting or spoiling.
  • Let your imagination run free!
  • Bring your book for display with your creation or use a library copy.
  • Participation is open to all members of the community.
