La tecnología está avanzando a velocidades inimaginables; nunca es demasiado tarde para comenzar a aprender los básicos en preparación para lo que está por venir. Esta es una clase para personas que se sienten intimidados, rara vez o nunca han usado una computadora. Venga a aprender las funciones básicas para operar las computadoras públicas de la biblioteca. Aprende como entrar y hacer una simple búsqueda en la web o crear un correo electrónico. Este programa gratuito es para adultos y se llevará a cabo en el Tech Center de la Biblioteca del Condado de Natrona a las 3 pm el 28 de diciembre. eBooks & Audiobooks: Hands-on Help @ Tech Center

The appeal of a print book will never go away, but sometimes you just want to read a book on your device or even pop in some headphones and listen to the book instead. Join us in the Tech Center at the Natrona County Library on Friday, January 3 from 2–4 pm to get help downloading eBooks and audiobooks to your device. Make a Google Docs Resume @ Tech Center

Carvey: Intro to Easel and Project Demo @ Tech Center

Patrons of all ages are invited to learn about the Natrona County Library’s Carvey, a 3D carving machine, and the easy-to-use software that can help you create designs for 3D carving, Easel. The intro and demo will be held on Wednesday, February 5 at 5 pm in the Creation Station. A staff member will first provide an overview in our Tech Center, followed by a demonstration in the Creation Station. The Carvey is provided by the Natrona County Library Foundation. The Library’s Creation Station is a flexible, community, collaborative makerspace for individuals and small groups of all ages who can use STEAM-related supplies and equipment to bring their inventions and creations to life. Cyber Security Workshop @ Crawford Room

With more and more of our lives becoming digitized and moving to the cloud, it’s incredibly important that we know how to keep that information safe. Tinkercad for 3D Printing @ Tech Center

Patrons of all ages are invited to join us for a Tinkercad class Wednesday, March 11 at 5 pm in the Library’s Tech Center. Tinkercad is an easy-to-learn web application for 3D design that you can use to build your own 3D creation. Design from home, then print in our Creation Station.
