Patrons of all ages are invited to learn about the Natrona County Library’s 3D printer on Saturday, November 16 at 10 am in the Creation Station. A staff member will provide an overview and demonstration. The 3D printer is provided by the Natrona County Library Foundation. The Library’s Creation Station is a flexible, community, collaborative makerspace for individuals and small groups of all ages who can use STEAM-related supplies and equipment to bring their inventions and creations to life. An afternoon book club for teens, sponsored by the Natrona County Library, will be held on Saturday, November 16 at 2 pm at Metro Coffee Co. Teens will discuss “Awkward” by Svetlana Chmakova. The group is open to students in grades 7–8, and new members are always welcome. Teens receive a free drink, courtesy of the Friends of the Library. Experience Virtual Reality @ Crawford Room

Immerse yourself in a new world by testing out the Natrona County Library’s virtual reality system on Saturday, November 16. Patrons of all ages are invited to stop by between 2 and 5 pm in the Crawford Room to choose from over 30 virtual reality games and apps to play on the HTC Vive. Free and open to the public. Early Bird & Second Chance Book Sale Tickets @ Friends Area

The Friends of the Natrona County Library will sell tickets for our Winter Bag Sale’s Early Bird Sale and Second Chance Sale Thursday, November 18 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Natrona County Library. Early Bird Sale (occurring on December 5) tickets are $20 each. Second Chance Sale (occurring on December 6) tickets are $10 each. 55 tickets are available for each sale. Buyers will have first pick of the selection while avoiding the long lines at the Fall Book Sale. Both Early Bird and Second Chance sales are regular sales, not bag sales. All items are $2 or less each.

If fall is known for anything, it’s definitely the season’s superior apple harvest. Join us for our Tween Cooking Club program for students in grades 4–6 on Monday, November 18 at 4 pm. Students will take apples to another level by making caramel apple cheesecake. Whether or not they save any to share with their parents is beyond our control. All supplies provided at no cost. She’ll share stories, tools and tactics to help anyone who truly wants to connect with other people learn how to do so. With a family connection to Casper, Ginger’s excited to join us for this event and will answer all questions you bring to the room as well.

FamilySearch is a free online resource and the world’s largest collection of free family trees, genealogy records, and resources. This program is free and open to the public.
