Tween Book Club @ Crawford Room

The Natrona County Library’s Tween Book Club will meet on Monday, March 25 at 4 p.m. in the Crawford Room. Children in grades 4-6 will discuss “Crenshaw” by Katherine Applegate. Students will also make fleece tie blankets to donate to a local organization that supports those who are homeless in our community. Please register in advance by calling 577-7323 or sign up when you stop by the Children’s Department to pick up a copy of this month’s book.

School’s Out Movie: “Ralph Breaks the Internet” @ Crawford Room

Children entering grades K-6 are invited to attend a special school’s out movie screening at the Natrona County Library on Wednesday, March 27 at 2 p.m. In this 2019 Oscar-nominated animated feature, video game bad guy Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz must risk it all by traveling to the World Wide Web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, “Sugar Rush.” In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet–the netizens–to help navigate their way, including an entrepreneur named Yesss, who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site BuzzzTube. Paws to Read: StoryTime with Therapy Dogs of Casper @ Crawford Room

Paws to Read with a furry friend! Dogs and handlers will attend StoryTime on the second Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the Natrona County Library. Children can sit with therapy dogs during StoryTime and spend time reading with them before and after the program. All dogs are certified and licensed through Therapy Dogs of Casper.
