Carvey: Intro to Easel and Project Demo @ Tech Center

Patrons of all ages are invited to learn about the Natrona County Library’s Carvey, a 3D carving machine, and the easy-to-use software that can help you create designs for 3D carving, Easel. The intro and demo will be held on Wednesday, February 5 at 5 pm in the Creation Station. A staff member will first provide an overview in our Tech Center, followed by a demonstration in the Creation Station. The Carvey is provided by the Natrona County Library Foundation. The Library’s Creation Station is a flexible, community, collaborative makerspace for individuals and small groups of all ages who can use STEAM-related supplies and equipment to bring their inventions and creations to life. String theory is the theoretical framework in physics in which the point-like particles of particle physics are replaced by one-dimensional objects called strings. STRING ART is not nearly as complicated, and far more fun to grasp. The Natrona County Library will host a fun, not-at-all-to-do-with-physics craft program for students in grades 4-6 on Monday, February 10 at 4 pm in the Crawford Room. Humanities Festival: Family Afternoon of Mystery, Madness, and Mayhem with a Craft & Movie @ Crawford Room

Patrons of all ages are invited to join us for a Tinkercad class Wednesday, March 11 at 5 pm in the Library’s Tech Center. Tinkercad is an easy-to-learn web application for 3D design that you can use to build your own 3D creation. Design from home, then print in our Creation Station.
