Casper’s growing season isn’t known for its longevity; so if you want year-round fresh vegetables and herbs from your very own garden, you might have to bring some of the gardening inside. Join us outside* on the Library’s lawn on socially-distanced tables to make these quick and easy herb planters out of upcycled tuna cans and clothespins. All supplies provided** at no cost. Fifty-One Years of Freedom: Wyoming’s Suffrage Story, 1869-1920 @ Ramkota Hotel

Celebrate Wyoming Women’s Suffrage with the Natrona County Library on Thursday, September 3rd at 6:30 p.m. at the Ramkota Hotel. In 1869 Wyoming made history as the first U.S. territory to give women the right to vote. Fifty-one years later, the nation followed Wyoming’s lead. Historian, Kylie Louise McCormick will offer a fresh take on a longstanding controversy, offering critical new evidence to Wyoming’s suffrage story and restoring the contributions to the movement made by both Dr. Grace Raymond Hebard and Esther Hobart Morris.
