Newsletter #2
January 6, 2012

Once again, we hope each of you had a truly blessed Christmas and we wish the best for you and yours in the year ahead!

I.  Sample Sets

The 225 sample sets are at the Wyoming State Library and they will begin shipping next week.  You will not receive enough sets for each classroom to have their own.  Typically we ask buildings with multiple first grade classes to share a set.

REMEMBER, these sample sets become part of your final inventory to fill the children’s orders at your celebration.  Please make arrangements to retrieve all the sample sets from your schools once the children have made their selections.

II.  Book Order Forms

We ask the Area Coordinators to collect and verify all book orders before sending them on to us.  The 2012 Book Order Form is available on the updated website.  At the Natrona County Public Library website (www.natronacountylibrary.org) click on “Our Community”and then on “Library Partners.”  This takes you to our link.  Book Order Forms and a sample letter to teachers can be found under “Resources.”

It really helps if everyone uses this form and if each classroom were to list their students alphabetically by last name.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation on this front.

III.  Other Website Features –

Under “Resources” you will find blank stationery and note cards for your use.  Under “Photo Gallery” you will find not only photos but new You Tube videos, media pieces and more.  We encourage you to explore the website and to give us your suggestions on how we can improve its usefulness.
