About Your Teen Zone
Young Adult Services at Natrona County Public Library is located on the 2nd floor on the north side of the building.
We are here to offer you:
- Information and resources for your schoolwork
- Walk-in and telephone reference
- Outreach programs to area schools and community groups
- Reading lists and bibliographies on many subjects
What you can find in the young Adult Area:
- Young Adult Fiction, including new titles
- Graphic Novels
- Young Adult Magazines
- CDs (in the audio-visual area)
- Audiobooks (in the audio-visual area)
There are three computers located in the Young Adult Area. Each computer is allows access to:
- Filtered Internet
- Interactive Games
- Encarta Reference Encyclopedias
- Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Clarisworks
The Young Adult Services Staff provide tours of the library and outreach services to area schools. Some outreach programs include:
- Booktalks
- Catalog instruction
- Help with Research Projects
