Quick Facts

  • NCPL saw 344,760 patrons last year during its 3,044 open hours.
    • That's 113 people served each hour!
    •  More people now visit the library in a single month than visited in an entire year in the 1970s when the current expansion was completed.

  • The population of Natrona County is forecasted to increase 1.5% (or over 1,000 people) annually over the next two decades.

  • In FY07 the NCPL children’s staff led 834 programs which served nearly 30,000 people.  Teen staff provided 234 additional programs with over 5,000 attendees.

  • NCPL is an important support for the local school district, providing programs in schools and hosting class visits at the library. More students can be served in an adequately-sized facility.
