LONGMIRE MONTH: Wyoming Territorial Sheriffs
6:30 pm

Wyoming Sheriff BadgeDo you enjoy author Craig Johnson’s portrayal of fictional Sheriff Walt Longmire?  Learn about real-life sheriffs of Wyoming’s territorial days at 6:30 p.m., Monday April 21. Hear tales from Wyoming’s colorful past – such as a Casper area Sheriff who brought in an outlaw’s head and put it on his supervisor’s desk, but couldn’t stay to chat because his wife was waiting with rabbit stew!  Round off the evening with a discussion of whether truth is really stranger than fiction.

This event is part of Longmire Month, a One Book Wyoming celebration.  To learn more about related events at your library, call 577-READ (7323) or visit www.natronacountylibrary.org/longmire.
