The Natrona County Library will host Astrophotographer and Astrocon Presenter Terry Mann on Wednesday, August 16 at 6:30 p.m. Terry will discuss imaging the total solar eclipse using different techniques and equipment, the basics of eclipse viewing and preparing for it, Earth and sky imaging, how to work in the dark, and how to use a camera and tripod to take shots of the Milky Way Galaxy. Mann has traveled to many places to view celestial events, including Australia, Aruba, Bolivia, Chile, and Egypt. Her photos and articles have been published in local newspapers and magazines as well as on television and websites such as Astronomy magazine, Sky and Telescope magazine, the Reflector magazine,, and She also has exhibited in art galleries and museums, and was selected as a First Light Observer at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
