ADULTS (18 & OVER)
Library cards are issued free of charge to county residents 18 and over upon presentation of photo ID with permanent address. You may apply at any library branch. NOTE: If your photo ID does not include proof of permanent address within the county, please bring a separate proof of address. Examples include a utility bill, rent receipt or bank statement in your name.
MINORS (UNDER 18)
Minors must have a parent or guardian accompany them to sign an application form. Parents are responsible for any fees associated with their minor child’s card. Please see our Note to Parents for more information about minors and library use.
CARD NUMBER AND PIN
Library online resources and account services require you to enter your library card number (located on the back of your card) and PIN. Your PIN is the password associated with your account. If you do not know your PIN, you may request it here. NOTE: You must have a valid email address on file to use this method. If you do not have an email on file with the library, please call (307) 577-7323 or ask for your PIN at any library branch.
LOST OR STOLEN CARDS
If your card is lost or stolen, please notify the library immediately at (307) 577-7323. We will block your account to ensure there is no unauthorized access. Visit any library branch to replace a lost, stolen or damaged card. The replacement fee is $1, and photo ID is required.
Library card accounts expire periodically to ensure contact information is updated. If you receive the message that your “Privilege has Expired” when using online services, please stop by any library branch to renew your account, or call (307) 577-7323.
