Family Crafternoon: CD Wind Spinners @ Crawford Room

The Natrona County Library will host a family crafting program for all ages on Saturday, April 28 at 1 p.m. Families will repurpose old CDs into vibrant CD wind spinners for their deck, patio or balcony, decorating them with craft jewels and sequins. These CDs are the prefect decoration for Casper, as they swing in the Wyoming wind reflecting the springtime sun. The flat side of these CDs catches the breeze, whizzing around and becoming a colorful blur. All supplies provided at no cost. Call 577.READ x5 for more information.

Paws to Read with a furry friend! Dogs and handlers will attend StoryTime on the second Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the Natrona County Library. Children can sit with therapy dogs during StoryTime and spend time reading with them before and after the program. All dogs are certified and licensed through Go Team Therapy Dogs. Experience Virtual Reality @ Crawford Room

Immerse yourself in a new world by testing out the Natrona County Library’s virtual reality system on Saturday, May 12 anytime between 2 and 5 p.m. Stop by at your leisure between 2 and 5 p.m. to choose from over 50 virtual reality games and apps to play on the HTC Vive.
