Craftastic Saturday: Denim Hand-Sewing Project @ Crawford Room

We all have old jeans that we’ve outgrown, have rips, or are just out of style. Don’t throw them away thinking they are junk! There a plenty of ways to breathe new life into used old denim. Protecting Yourself from a Data Breach @ Crawford Room

The Natrona County Library will offer a Protecting Yourself from a Data Breach class on Tuesday, March 6 from 1 to 2 p.m. Data breaches seem to be happening more and more often, with data thieves targeting both small companies and global giants. While you may not be able to keep all of your data under lock and key, you need to control what you can and take action to prevent yourself from becoming a victim of identity theft, including what to do if you are affected by a data breach. In this class, Cole Ehmke will outline several identity theft steps you can take to protect yourself and what to do if your personal information is exposed in a data breach. The Natrona County Library will host an escape room for students in grades 4-6 on Monday, March 19 at 4 p.m. Players will be given clues to a secret treasure hidden in the Library. They will need to crack codes, solve riddles, and conquer puzzles in order to open the treasure box within a set time limit. As the time ticks down, players will be under pressure to work with each other and use all of their senses to figure out the solution that will release the contents hidden within.
