Family Crafternoon: CD Wind Spinners @ Crawford Room

The Natrona County Library will host a family crafting program for all ages on Saturday, April 28 at 1 p.m. Families will repurpose old CDs into vibrant CD wind spinners for their deck, patio or balcony, decorating them with craft jewels and sequins. These CDs are the prefect decoration for Casper, as they swing in the Wyoming wind reflecting the springtime sun. Paws to Read with a furry friend! Dogs and handlers will attend StoryTime on the second Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the Natrona County Library. 2018 Wyoming Reads Celebration @ Library

The 2018 Wyoming Reads Celebration for Natrona County will be held Tuesday, May 15 at 11 a.m. at the Nicolaysen Art Museum and the Natrona County Library. During this celebration of literacy, all Natrona County first graders will receive a hardback book of their choice, courtesy of the Sue Jorgensen Library Foundation. For information about Wyoming Reads, visit wyomingreads.org. To accommodate this important literacy event, Beech Street and the Library?s parking lot will be closed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the safety of the children. City Bus stops will be moved to Durbin Street. A temporary book drop will be available at the Library?s Durbin Street entrance. Library computers will be closed during the event, and StoryTime will be cancelled. Call 577-READ for more information.

Ancient Greek Philosophy @ Crawford Room
